Adeeba Kamarulzaman is a Professor of Medicine and Infectious Diseases at the University of Malaya and the Director of the Centre of Excellence for Research in AIDS (CERiA). Professor Adeeba also serves on several regional and international committees on HIV/AIDS and was the Scientific Co-chair of the XVIIIth International AIDS Conference. She was a Guest Editor of the Lancet Special Series on HIV in People Who Use Drugs in 2010.
